Hybrid Zoom and in-Person Training in Fort Lauderdale, FL
CANDIDATE PRE-REQUISITES
- Minimum age 18
- Certified diver for a minimum of 6 months
- Provide proof of 100 logged dives completed in a number of different environments with varying depths
- Be certified as a SDI Divemaster, SDI Assistant Instructor, or equivalent.
- Provide proof of current First Response Adult and Child Emergency Care Provider and Oxygen Administration Provider certification or equivalent*

*First Response courses may be combined with the IDC program
Candidates must be able to do the following by the end of the course:
- Swim 400m in less than 10 minutes
- Snorkel 800m in less than 17 minutes
- Tread water for 10 minutes
SCHEDULE
Course Breakdown
20 Hours of Academic Presentation
40 Hours Confined Water
40 Hours Open Water
Daily Schedule:
– Morning: Academic Lectures
– Afternoon: Pool Training
– Weekend: Open Water Training
Full Breakdown Can Be Provided Upon Request. Candidates should budget 7-8 hours per day for this course.
QUALIFICATIONS AFTER GRADUATION
Upon successful graduation, all candidates will be able to teach the following courses:
