The first step to getting certified is to schedule an in shop Orientation! Here, we get to chat with you about the joys of SCUBA, the process of class (and diving in Florida), and answer any questions you may have. Over our 40 years of experience as a shop, we have found these sessions help to make an easier, more fun, and safer experience!

If you are still unsure, you can wait to sign up for class till after the orientation (no obligations!). If you are ready to request pool and ocean dates, schedule an orientation and follow the link below to pay for the course.

Next: Request Pool Date

Once you have signed up for the course, you can select a pool class at your convenience. You can request any day you choose! We will confirm we have an instructor available and get it all booked for you.

We do require that everyone has completed the eLearning before getting in the water, so make sure to give yourself enough time before your pool class to finish the online academics. You will receive your online code at your orientation session.

Note: due to high demand, we do require payment within 12 hours of booking the pool class. If you are not ready to pay, consider just booking your orientation session for now — to learn more about the course.

Next: Request your Ocean Dives

To complete your certification, you need 4 Open Water dives. Luckily, we make this incredibly easy at our location! We will have you complete four open water dives under the supervision of your private instructor. Included in your course is 4 beach dives, however, if you would like to do your dives off the boat (either all dives or just the second day), please check the option to upgrade to boat dives on the scheduler.

Please request two days so we can complete all 4 dives.
